LCAC has been serving the lao community in Sydney NSW since its inception, in 1982. We have achieved and built solid foundation for a stable and strong lao community organisation in Australia. We have succeeded in preserving and promoting lao culture and traditions.
We have a fully owned office for general community services, a fully owned childcare centre, been accredited a permanent housing provider accreditation to manage numbers of aged and suported housing units, established Lao Lane Xang Saturday School for the teaching of culture and lao language to lao children, secured the lease of land from the government to built a temple and community centre at Smithfield Road, Edensor Park NSW 2178, and worked on many other areas of social welfare services.
For over 30 years LCAC has assisted thousands of lao refugees for their settlement in their new homeland, Australia. We have been providing assistance to the lao community in many social and welfare areas such as: culture, language, religion, immigration, housing, translation and interpretation services.
LCAC has worked tiredlessly to provide quality services to the lao community in Sydney region, and LCAC will continue to do so for a loving, caring and prosperous lao community.
